In our career talks, the Young Chemists Vienna are looking forward to providing you with valuable insights into the various fields today’s chemists are working in to make some of your upcoming decisions concerning your professional path easier. This time we are pleased to welcome TU Wien alumnus Dr. Klaus Dobrezberger. After finishing his PhD in physical chemistry, he pursued a career as a teacher at HTL Wels for various subjects like analytical chemistry to food chemistry. In this talk, you will get information about what it comes down to being a chemistry teacher, what a typical workday looks like, which additional qualifications and skills you might need, what to bring along from your chemistry studies, and many more.
