As part of the Novartis AG, Sandoz AG is responsible for the production of generic drugs of Novartis International. The Factory Kundl was found in 1946 and specialises on biotech meds, spanning from research and development to production. Its focal point is the production of antibiotics. On the 29th of October we will get the chance to visit the Kundl Factory where Sandoz will show us their production lines and various steps in the production of medicine like fermentation, purification and logistics. The field trip is limited to 30 people.
