Wilhelm Guggenberger was born in Innsbruck and studied theology at the university of Innsbruck. After studying for his doctor's degree in theory of society he conferred qualification as a professor with his thesis on "The list of things. Dead ends in business ethics in a functional differentiated society" Guggenberger is a member of the independent ethics committee of the Hauck & Aufhäuser AG as well as an alternate member in the advisory board for ethical issues in economical research at the LFU and he was representative of the faculty of theology in the ethics board of the medical university Innsbruck.
With his lecture titled "The economization of the world – Liberation of ethical problems or aggravation of the problem?" our ethics lecture series will advance to the second round. After the lecture a small buffet and the chance for further talk with the lecturer will be provided.
Presentation on the topic of microplastics, followed by an exchange between the participants, the speaker and the Young Chemists.
