On June 8th 2017 the Jungchemiker Linz invited to the event "DiplomingenieurIn – what now?" in cooperation with the Kepler Society Alumniclub. Graduates of the various branches of study in chemistry took part in the panel discussion. The debate focused on career entry and post-graduate work opportunities. Should you immediately start your PhD or is it better to gather your first professional experience in a company? These considerations are of interest to students who are about to complete their master's degree and are now faced with the decision of their further professional or academic career.

Graduates of the JKU Linz described their experience of the transition to professional life

Five young graduates of the JKU Linz, who are now working in different companies and industrial areas, described their experience of the transition to professional life. The broad range of working activities allowed a good insight into possible jobs in the chemical industry. Rounding off the evening the Kepler Society invited all guests for drinks.

The panel discussion was visited by many interested people.
